Who this is for

We keep the criteria intentionally broad. If your organization is doing genuine public good and a monthly subscription is a real constraint, we want to hear from you.

Registered NGOs

Nonprofits and charities with official registration. Humanitarian work, civil society, advocacy — if you are legally a nonprofit, you qualify.

Open Source Projects

Actively maintained projects with a public repository. If your work benefits the wider community and is free to use, this is for you.

Independent Journalists

Solo journalists, investigative reporters, or small editorial teams running their own platforms without institutional backing.

Why we do this

Tools like Valpero should not be a barrier for organizations doing important work. A nonprofit running a resource site for people in crisis cannot afford for that site to go down unnoticed. An open source maintainer serving thousands of developers deserves the same reliability signals as a funded startup.

We are a small team, and this program is small by design. We review each application ourselves. We are not running an automated approval flow, and we are not trying to generate press coverage from this. We just think it is the right thing to do.
